Better Buses for All

If you are reading this page you are probably one of the many passengers that used to travel on the 935 service that used to run between Holmfirth and Wakefield.

Its withdrawal from service in July 2007 has inconvenienced many passengers with little or no consulation from Arriva or Metro. The service that has been put in to replace the sucessful, reliable and popular 935 service is both slower and less conveniently routed and timed than the 935, leaving many passengers angry and disgruntled.

This website has been set up by some of those passenger as an on-line resource for information on the decisions that were made in our name, to highlight the inaccuracies of Arrivas findings at review time and allow users a forum to discuss openly there thoughts about what has happened.

As this site is operated on a free website we can't guarentee the contents and woujld ask any contibutor to try to refrin from unecessary offensive and crude language (even though we will allow the word Arriva to be used & abused as agressivley as you want! )

The 935 will never come back but we can push for a replacement that meet OUR needs as passengers rather than the hatchet job that was done and the disaster that has been put in place!
